Perfectly Designed for FTTx Applications

PLANET GPN-100 is a GPON Optical Network Terminal (ONT) equipped with one GPON port and one Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 interface. When functioning with PLANET GPON Optical line Terminal (OLT), the GPN-100 provides highly-effective GPON solutions for FTTx and multi-service networks. The GPN-100 complies with GPON ITU-T G.984/G.988 standards and PRC communications industrial standards for GPON Access technology requirements. With Plug and Play design, it’s easy for the installation and maintenance of GPON deployment.


Excellent Access Capacity

The GPN-100 supports PON downstream and upstream transmission rates of 2.5Gbps and 1.25Gbps, respectively. Connected with PLANET GPON OLT – GPL-8000, it can realize 1:128 split ratio. The covering radius of the network can reach  up to 20km.


High-service Control Capability

The GPN-100 supports advanced DBA (dynamic bandwidth allocation), rate limit and accurate bandwidth limit, which enable users to share 2.5Gbps bandwidth resource appropriately. It also supports QoS function, which guarantees a reliable service quality and service priority.


Advanced Energy-saving Technique

PLANET GPN-100, adopting the advanced green networking technology, consumes very low power in full load operation mode, which helps conserve energy effectively but maintains high performance efficiently.

With increasing network services such as HDTV, IPTV, voice-over-IP (VoIP) and multimedia broadband applications, the demand for broadband communication has grown quickly.
